Excited to share the first peer-reviewed paper from my PhD research about wolves using diverse movement tactics to track the partially migratory Cody elk herd in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem! We found evidence of wolves shifting homesites with young pups along elk migratory routes to their summer ranges. We even have trail camera footage from Wyoming Game and Fish Department of a 1-2 month old pup being carried from the den to a rendezvous site!
